Explosions in Dubai, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia as more Iranian weapons are seized
A powerful blast rocked Dubai as air defenses contained the early morning fire in the city, where people were observing Eid al-Fitr, the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, and mosques were making the day’s first call to prayers.
Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said the fire broke out after debris from a reported site landed in a warehouse, while Saudi Arabia reported that it had shot down several planes targeting oil in the Eastern Province.
The renewed attack came after a tense day in which Iran hit electrical infrastructure in the region and launched more than a dozen missile salvos at Israel following an attack on South Pars.
South Pars, the Iranian part of the world’s largest gas field, is located offshore in the Persian Gulf and is jointly owned by Qatar. Since nearly 80% of Iran’s energy production comes from natural gas, this attack posed a direct threat to the country’s electricity supply.

Iran launched missile and drone attacks on Kuwait, local officials said
Kuwait’s military said early Friday local time that Iran had launched missiles and a drone into the country.
In a communiqué, the Kuwait Armed Forces said that if explosions were heard, “they are the results of air defense systems that prevent malicious attacks.”
An earlier strike by detectors at Kuwait’s state-owned Mina Al-Ahmadi company sparked a fire but no one was injured, KUNA media reported on Thursday.
The Kuwaiti military earlier reported that it had targeted 18 Iranian drones in a 24-hour period from Wednesday to Thursday, 13 of which were intercepted and destroyed. Two military patrols hit a refinery, the military said.

Israeli forces hit Tehran with a “wave of strikes,” the IDF said
Israel hit Tehran with airstrikes on Friday morning local time as Iranians marked Nowruz, or the Persian new year.
Activists reported silent strikes around the Iranian capital. The attack came a day after Israel vowed not to strike a key Iranian gas field and Iran stepped up attacks on oil and natural gas facilities around the Gulf.
The Israel Defense Forces wrote on social media that it has “launched a wave of strikes against the infrastructure of the Iranian terrorist regime in the heart of Tehran.”
Iran has continued its retaliatory attacks on Israel that have sent millions of people to shelters, with sirens sounding across a wide area in the north, from Haifa to the Galilee to the Lebanese border.
It also continued its strikes on its Gulf neighbors. A huge blast rocked Dubai early Friday as security forces stormed the city, where people were observing Eid al-Fitr, the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, and mosques were making the day’s first call to prayers.

Netanyahu says the current structure of Iran’s leadership is “unclear” after the targeted killings
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Iran’s current leadership was “unclear” after a series of targeted missiles killed several prominent clerics and leaders during the war.
A senior Iranian security official Ali Larijani and other senior leaders were killed in strikes earlier this week, reducing the number of senior government officials still alive.
Ayatollah Mojtaba Khameneithe new leader and son of late leader Ali Khamenei, is believed to have been injured in the strike. that killed his father at the beginning of the war.
“Mojtaba, the deputy ayatollah, has not shown his face,” Netanyahu told reporters at a press conference Thursday night. “Have you seen him? We haven’t, and we can’t be sure what’s going on there. There’s a vague cloud here.”
Netanyahu also speculated that the new supreme leader will not have the same influence as his father.
“I think the authority and grip that Khamenei had cannot be translated to anyone,” Netanyahu said. “Not to Mojtaba, if he is there, not to anyone else.”
