Although it’s technically our job, there’s nothing more important to us than lighting products that really deliver, and we do that through research, comparison, and most importantly, testing.

The best long distance shoe
“It’s like walking on a cloud” is how reviewers, including NBC Khetha reporter Zoe Malin, described the Nike Vomero Plus. During the test, Malin logged 134 kilometers and completed four half marathons, noting that they took “tremendous stress” on the knees and hips. Responsive foam absorbs shock without adding weight, while a breathable mesh upper keeps feet cool. The best water bottle

The best cooling sleeping mask
TheraICE wins another annual Wellness Award in the sleep mask category – this time for best soothing sleep mask. A favorite among our editors, the mask delivers a soothing, long-lasting cooling sensation that helps relieve headaches, eye strain and puffiness without feeling too cold. NBC Select senior editor Nikki Brown, who regularly tests sleep masks for ocular pain, says it “feels very lightweight” with a secure fit that requires little adjustment.
