‘Back to the Future’ actor Crispin Glover is being sued by a woman who claims he kidnapped her

The former model filed a lawsuit against “Back to the Future” actor Crispin Glover, claiming he held her “slave,” used her for “sex and free labor” and beat her.
The complaint, filed Wednesday in California Superior Court, alleges that the 61-year-old actor “groomed” the woman, “lured” her to his Los Angeles home and strangled her following an argument in March 2024.
Glover and the Los Angeles Police Department did not immediately return NBC News’ requests for comment Thursday.
A representative for Glover told TMZ that she “strongly denies these baseless allegations.”
“The facts are that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of a brutal assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence,” the representative said in a statement. “Mr. Glover called the LAPD, who arrived on the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe. These facts are documented in law enforcement records and the restraining order that Mr. Glover filed against Jane Doe at the time.”
The complaint states that the 30-year-old woman, identified as “Jane Doe,” met Glover on social media in 2015. Allegedly, for several years, he had been “insisting on texting her to come to Los Angeles” and “used to do something unusual.” The woman thought of Glover as a friend, the complaint says.
According to the lawsuit, the couple met in Germany in 2023 and Glover allegedly “displayed several items of Nazi memorabilia from his collection.” It says that in 2024 he “lured” a woman to his home after telling her that she could stay there and work as a maid.
“He promised her a home and a job if she came to Los Angeles. But when Ms. Doe took the bait and removed herself and moved to Los Angeles, she found herself in a disturbing situation where Mr. Glover wanted to control her actions and track her whereabouts and basically serve her as a girlfriend/sex slave,” the complaint said.
Alleging that he was “imprisoned and used for sex and free labor.”
The lawsuit accuses Glover of controlling where the woman went and who she communicated with. After he left without her permission in March 2024, he allegedly locked her out, according to the complaint.
When she tried to enter the house, the complaint says, Glover “attacked her, grabbed her by the neck and choked her in the head.” The filing includes a photo of a wound on the front of a woman’s neck.
According to the lawsuit, Glover called the police about the woman and filed a restraining order, which was later dismissed.
The lawsuit says the woman is “homeless and emotionally scarred by the traumatic events with Mr. Glover.”
He sued the actor with claims of battery, fraud and wrongful dismissal. He is seeking unspecified damages.
Glover’s representative said he “intends to vigorously defend himself and pursue all available relief.”
“He hopes that the judicial process will expose this case as a frivolous scandal,” the representative said.
Glover played George McFly, the father of Michael J. Fox’s Marty McFly, in the original “Back to the Future” film in 1985. He also had notable film roles in the 2000 version of “Charlie’s Angels” and the 2010 version of “Alice in Wonderland.”
